The Chesnut Festival offers the chance to taste grilled and boiled chestnut, sweets based on chestnuts, as well as hot distilled "tsipouro" from the cauldron. The event is celebrated in October in Arna (Locania, Peloponnese).

Aegina, the island of the pistachio, hosts the annual “Fistiki Festival” in September. The trade fair set up along the harbour of the island is the core of the event. Around 60 stands offer a great quantity of fistiki (pistachio) as well as its derivatives and a variety of traditional local agricultural products.

Every summer, the City and the Regional Unit of Rethymno co-organize the “Cretan Diet Festival”, an open-air gastronomic event at the Municipal Garden.

The festival of traditional Cycladic cooking "Nikolaos Tselementes" aims towards the promotion of the Cycladic traditional gastronomy.

Ladenia is a traditional pie from Kimolos, a healthier version of pizza, made of tomato, onion and of course extra virgin olive oil. It is great for a snack, a light meal or cut-up and served as part of your meze table.

This is a typical Cretan liquor made from a grape which grows on this Greek island.

Everywhere you go in Crete, you will see flocks of sheep and lambs. Cretan Lamb is a meat which is particularly enjoyed on the island and it is the main ingredient in several dishes. By mixing it with another typically Greek product, yogurt, we’ll have a very special and authentic dish which, in addition, is very easy to prepare.

´Sitia Lasithiou Kritis´ is highly reputed Greek oil made from the Koroneiki variety of olive, which is traditionally cultivated in the designated geographical area. It is produced using traditional processing methods.
