Priorat Wine Fair Events
The Priorat county celebrates its annual Wine Fair usually during the first weekend of May. It is dedicated to the two wine appellations of the county, the DOC Priorat and the DO Montsant. The wineries involved offer tastings of their wines in exchange for tasting tickets which can be purchased at the fair in the information tent.
Traditional Rice Festival Events
This festival celebrates its 25th edition. “Lo Mas de la Cuixota” shows how the peasant farmers sowed the rice fields.
Renaissance Cuisine Events
During the second fortnight in July, Tortosa celebrates the Renaissance Festival.The Festival commemorates the splendour of the city in the 16th century, a peak time in the history of Tortosa, by offering a wide programme of entertainment and cultural activities.
Hazelnut Fair Events
In Baix Camp, in the village of Riudoms, the Hazelnut Fair has been celebrated during the second weekend of August for 400 years already. Nowadays, the fair offers expositions of nuts and their derivatives, all of them used in the local gastronomy.

The Rice Sowing Festival remembers how the works of the rice (sowing and harvest) were done at the beginning of last century.
Delta Oyster Day Events
One Sunday in the month of May, visitors come to the town to celebrate the Delta Oyster Day, an occasion that has become one of the Ebro region's main culinary events. Throughout the day, the public attending the festival at the fishing port of L'Ampolla consumes 2,500 kilos of Delta oysters. accompanied, if they wish, by a glass of cava.
Cava Fair Events
Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the world’s leading cava producing town, brings together the top cava producers every year at Cavatast.
Cavatast has tasting areas where you can enjoy sampling a variety of cavas and try the flavours of the food on offer, too. Cavatast also has a store set up in a central shopping area to make it easy for visitors to purchase the many cavas on display, as well as a busy schedule of related activities and specialised workshops led by wine professionals.

Girella Fair Events
Girella Fair is an exhibition of traditional crafts and trades of the local region, where visitors are invited to get to know how the typical “girella” dish (cured lamb sausage) is prepared and, of couse, they can taste it at the Plaça Mercadal square!
